The Ark of the Covenant*, also known as the Ark of the Testimony, is a gold-covered wooden chest described in the book of Exodus as containing the two stone tablets of the Ten Commandments. According to various texts within the Hebrew Bible, it also contained Aaron’s rod and a pot of manna.

Today the holiness of the Torah is kept in a structure that resembles the original Ark of the Covenant at the front of Hebrew synagogues.
The Tabernacle, according the Hebrew bible was the portable earthly meeting place of God with the children of Israel from the time of the exodus from Egypt through the conquering of the land of Canaan. Roman Catholic churches have sacred Tabernacles on the altar that hold a consecrated Eucharist. This Eucharist is holy and is used by ordained priests to celebrate Mass. The holy communion, also called the Lord’s Supper, is a Christian Rite that is considered a sacrament in most churches. It was instituted by Lord Jesus at the Last Supper. He gave his Disciples bread and wine during the Passover meal. Jesus said the Bread is my Body and the Wine is my Blood to Christians. This is the remembrance of Lord Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
For the purposes of our story, the Ark of the Covenant will represent the Mystical Body of Christ. The Sophian Gnostics believe that at the time of the crucifixion of Christ, the blood and fluids of Our Lord that fell onto Mother Earth created a Covenant with the people.
When Jesus said “It is finished,” to me He meant that humanity is saved and the physical earthly reality of the physical world was transmuted to God Particles. On Pentecost, Jesus facilitated Mother/Father/Gods filling the disciples and the followers of Christ with the Holy Spirit. This was the first time the Holy Spirit entered humanity in a human other than Lord Jesus. Thus this was the beginning of the God Particles and the Holy Spirit being available to all of mankind.
The little group of us – Lord Jesus, Lady Mary, Miri, Ketre, Miriam and Reverend Absurd – are now ready to enter the Ark of the Covenant. Please remember that we are creating a playful understanding of the Holy Teachings. We are exploring what Jesus meant when he said, “you must become as a little child to enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3.
And in Isaiah where it says…“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.” Isaiah 11:6. We are exploring how the little children experience entering into the kingdom of heaven with Lord Jesus and Lady Mary.
