“This verse also suggests the presence of a holy tsaddik with his or her disciples. While the holy tsaddik remains alive, and among them there is a distinct grace of the living presence and power of which the holy tsaddik serves as a vehicle or channel. While the holy tsaddik is among the disciples, the spiritual life and practice has the quality of a celebration and love-play between the lover and the Beloved. When the holy tsaddik departs, as the life of the tsaddik comes to an end, the texture and nature of the spiritual practice of the disciples changes. It is no longer the celebration and love-play it once was, at least not in the experience of the disciple. There is something quite special about spiritual practice and spiritual life when one’s holy tsaddik is alive and with one self in the physical world – something that cannot be described outside of the experience, any more than the delight of a love affair can be explained outside of the experience. Yeshua is also indicating the state of Grace that exists while the tsaddik remains with the disciples.”
This verse 104 inspires us to know our own Inner Tau or guidance. There are many different names associated with our inner guides. My model has 5 inner dimensional medicine wheels that represent the Middle Pillar of the Kaballah. In each medicine wheel or Sepheroth are the 4 directions; the Inner Child is in the south, the Woman in the west, the Man in the north. The east is the Spiritual Aspect. For me, I would usually have the teacher or the Tau in the north position. All aspects of myself are inner teachers for me. Throughout the years I have had to readjust many new aspects of my inner teacher or guidance as the need arose.
By continually working on my ability to receive information from my inner guidance, I prepare myself to meet my teachers in the outer world. For me these teachers have not necessarily been one person. I do feel, however that these teachers have been sent by my own inner guidance in order for me to receive the teachings and accomplish my mission for that time period. Verse 104 describes how deeply meaningful these relationships usually are.
